“Our family have had the absolute pleasure of skiing with Julie for the past two years, both for private lessons and full family trips.
As the best coach in town, she is not only professional, but also incredibly warm, friendly, and encouraging. When I first started, I had absolutely zero skiing experience. Thanks to her immense patience and creative way of breaking down the technical details, I progressed to skiing blue pistes by last season. Anyone who has skied Verbier knows it’s not exactly an easy place for beginners, but I have always felt completely safe under Julie’s guidance. With her, I have managed to build my confidence on the mountain and have been able to appreciate the beauty of Verbier literally on a different level.
Julie is also resourceful and knows the place well. Anytime I need an inspiration of places to go and activities to do for myself and the family, she was there for us. I can’t thank her enough for making our stay in Verbier comfortable and enjoyable.

What impressed me most was her quiet confidence - both in her own skiing ability and in her teaching. She never needed to prove how good she was; her expertise spoke for itself. She has an incredible ability to assess exactly where you are, understand your strengths and weaknesses, and gently push you just beyond your comfort zone without ever leaving you feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. I wanted to learn ski touring, and she taught me everything I needed to know. From safety considerations and touring techniques to equipment use and mountain etiquette, she ensured I understood not just what to do, but why. What truly sets her apart is how much she genuinely cares about her clients. She went above and beyond by accompanying me to rent all the necessary ski touring equipment, making sure I had the right gear and that everything fitted properly. She took the time to answer every question and made sure I felt confident and well looked after before even stepping onto the mountain.
Throughout the entire process, she was understanding, encouraging, and incredibly supportive. Learning with her felt less like taking lessons and more like being guided by a trusted friend who genuinely wanted me to succeed and enjoy the experience. I have had the privilege of skiing with her 3 years in a row and cannot recommend her highly enough. She has expert knowledge of terrain and location and adapts to the weather and snow levels to ensure maximum enjoyment of the time you have. She’s helped me build my confidence back up (following an injury) with a wonderful balance of guiding and teaching. She knows when to push you, when to encourage just enjoying the slopes. Jules has recommended great locations and itineraries for a wide range of levels when we have skied with friends and coordinates the right spot to meet up with the family (and get them safely off the mountain too…). She always goes the extra mile and is wonderful company to boot. Book her up now! (Unless it is when I want to ski in which case the race is on…)”
